Flight Recording Department
The Flight Recorder Department tests, repairs, and overhauls Flight Data Recorders, Cockpit Voice Recorders, Control Units, Flight Data Acquisition Units, and Flight Data Entry Panels. We also offer a readout service and provide loaner units for L3 Communications Mfg. of Fairchild Aviation Recorders (Formerly Lockheed Martin Advance Recorders), Lockheed and Honeywell (Formerly AlliedSignal) at no charge.
Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. Recording Department has been an authorized warranty repair facility for Lockheed Martin Advanced Recorders (now L3 Communications) for several years. We have factory training on Honeywell (Formerly AlliedSignal) and L-3 Communications recorders. We also have state-of-the-art OEM equipment for all of the recorders we service.

Readout Service
The Flight Recording Department can provide data transcriptions for all of the Flight
Recorders and Cockpit Voice Recorders we service. Having the capability to support the
FDAU's, FDEP's, FDR's and performing readouts in the same department gives us an edge when
it comes to helping our customers troubleshoot their aircraft.
